Mission and Vision of NCDRC

Mission
The Non-Communicable Diseases Research Center is a sub-center of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences Research and Technology. The center has been established in Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences to promote health-related research, especially non-communicable diseases and comprehensive health care (at prevention and treatment levels).The goal of this center is to promote research at all levels of the university and meet community needs.

Vision
The Center for  Non-Communicable  Diseases  Research Center will promote itself to one of the top universities at the university level in the next five years, as well as continuously improving its activities, providing needed space, funding and human resources through the use of scientific methods and in accordance with the rules and regulations, While obtaining definitive approval from the Ministry, The center intends to promote the "Healthy community and the promotion of human dignity sustained by sustainable development" with innovation in the field of research as one of the top research centers.
NCDRC intends to provide the Center with a continuous effort and assistance from its members and researchers in line with the University's macro perspective as a reference center for research in the field of health and care in the country and the region. The center intends to research in various fields of non◊illness by disseminating its research results, such as print and computer reports in network environments, presenting seminars and workshops, and applying research results, and will show that the use of research results and the implementation of plans derived from They believe.
The Non-Communicable Diseases Research Center considers its main task serving decision makers and health professionals through providing evidence, innovative approaches and techniques. Based on this task, providing the necessary fields for activities in the field of health assessment, evaluating the performance of health systems and maximizing the impact of health interventions has set in its strategic plan.

Maintaining, providing and promoting people's physical, mental and social health is our reason for being here.

Challenges and solutions
The following challenges:

Increasing trend of communicable diseases and their non-destructive factors.
Reducing the age of non◊communicable diseases
The lack of a comprehensive and structured program for the prevention and early control of risk factors for noninvasive diseases
Lack of effective interdisciplinary co◊operation in the area of basic measures for the prevention and early control of non◊communicable diseases and related risk factors
 Weakness in using available capacities in the country as well as proper and cost◊effective capacity to prevent and control non◊communicable diseases in the community.
 The lack of sufficient evidence◊based research in some areas on preventive strategies and community◊based interventions to prevent and control non◊communicable diseases in the country.

Suggested strategies:
More emphasis on prevention of non◊communicable disease risk factors
Legislation to strengthen inter◊agency cooperation between different organizations for the prevention and control of non◊communicable diseases and their risk factors.
To develop a comprehensive and practical plan to implement practical measures for the prevention, screening and control of non◊communicable diseases.
 Emphasizing the role of the welfare organization and the education organization in shaping the habits of lifestyle
Execution of obligations and documents regardless of the time or persons approving it.
 Supervision of the proper implementation of assignment plans by a team of decision makers and funding providers
 Identify the Trustee of Non◊Threatening Risk Factors.
